Eligibility - Current Overall Champions
If you won the title of Overall Champion in a Pole Theatre held between 30 November 2018 - 30 April 2020, then you are a current overall champion and can apply for automatic entry to Pole Theatre World 2020 by clicking here:
Eligibility - Previous Overall Champions
If you won the title of Overall Champion prior to 30 November 2018, then you are entitled to apply to enter Pole Theatre World 2020 by scrolling down to the entry form at the bottom of this page.
Eligibility - Category Winners
If you were a winner of your category prior to 30 November 2018, in Pro, Semi Pro or an Amateur category, then you are entitled to apply to enter Pole Theatre World 2020 by scrolling down to the entry form at the bottom of this page.
If you were a winner in a Pro category, you must enter Pro.
If you were a winner in an Amateur or Semi Pro category, you can enter Semi Pro, provided you comply with the section below.
Can I enter Semi Pro?
To be eligible to compete in the 2020 Pole Theatre Semi Pro Division, you must fit within one of the following two paragraphs:
1. Non Current Title Holders
If you won your Semi Pro Pole Theatre title on or before 30 November 2018 (i.e. the closing date for entries to Pole Theatre World 2019), and you have not won a Professional level competition after winning your Pole Theatre Semi Pro title, then you are eligible to enter Pole Theatre World 2020 in the Semi Pro division.
2. Current Title Holders
If you won a Semi Pro category or are a Semi Pro Overall Champion after 30 November 2018, then you are eligible to enter Pole Theatre World 2020 Semi Pro, regardless of what competitions or titles you have won since winning your Pole Theatre Semi Pro title.
If you do not fit within paragraphs 1 or 2 above, then you are not eligible to compete in Semi Pro at Pole Theatre World 2020.
The World Pole Theatre Final will be held in Athens on 10 October 2020
at The Dais Athletic Center Amarousio
There will be two divisions, Semi Professional and Professional.
