The World Pole Theatre Workshops will be held across our Pole Dance Academy Studios on Saturday 10th October 2026 & Sunday 11th October 2026
All workshop times vary. All workshops are suited for Intermediate Level & Up
Static Rotation
with Mischka
Pole Dance Academy Brookvale
Learn how to smoothly create rotations and continual flow in your static combos. This is created through use of hand cranking which will be broken down for you, and momentum generated from either leading with head, torso or leg. The basics and “how to” of static rotations will be the initial focus, followed by applying these concepts to tricks and combos. Intermediate Level & Up.
Kips & Flips
with Mischka
Pole Dance Academy Brookvale
This workshop incorporates flip and kip transitions that are both new trending tricks and old faithfuls. Depending on level you may learn faux flips, tip offs, full flips and kips. Mischka will guide and spot you through your tricks. There may be some kips to knees so bring your knee pads and shoes just in case. Intermediate Level & Up.
Filthy Floor Flows
with Mischka
Pole Dance Academy Alexandria
This workshop involves all of Mischka's favourite gooey floor flow sequences and tricks. You will be shoulder standing, shoulder rolling, splitting, sliding and slithering across the floor, so bring your heels and knee pads. Once you have the base of the trick and combos, you will be challenged to dance them to music and find you musicality and flow. Intermediate Level & Up.

The Pole Dance Academy Instructor Training Program was designed by Michelle Shimmy and Maddie Sparkle to give you the foundations you need to be a great pole dance instructor! Being an amazing pole instructor is about so much more than just knowing how to do the moves in the syllabus.
Over this two-day program, you will learn the essential skills that you need to become a confident and effective pole instructor, capable of guiding your students through their amazing pole achievements.

Please note that heels or barefoot dancers are all welcome! We recommend bringing kneepads along also for the non-tricks classes. If you do not have kneepads they can be purchased at reception at our studio. We also sell No Sweat Dry Grip and Dancing Dust grip.
