Pole Theatre Switzerland Finalists

We are in the process of putting together the best solution possible - please check back her for more updates as they become available

As you are aware, due to financial difficulties, the organisers of Pole Theatre Switzerland have decided to not proceed with the event as a live, in-person event this year. We understand how disappointing this news is, particularly given the time, dedication, financial commitment and creativity you have invested in preparing your performance.

We are also deeply disappointed that the event will not go ahead. This in unprecedented in the over 10 years of Pole Theatre history worldwide.

We can confirm that Pole Theatre Switzerland will continue as an online competition this year, under the organisation of the Pole Theatre Sydney team. All registered competitors are invited to film and submit a video of their intended performance. These videos will be judged and scored by our official Pole Theatre judging panel, and the winners will receive their trophies, titles and prize packs as originally planned. Importantly, category winners from the online event will remain eligible to enter Pole Theatre World.

We recognise the effort and passion each of you has brought to this competition, and we want to ensure that your work is still celebrated and acknowledged. We share your disappointment that the event won't take place in a live format. The online format will allow you the opportunity to be awarded a title, and the chance to compete at Pole Theatre World. We fully acknowledge and respect that an online competition is not the same as a live event.

Entry to Pole Theatre Switzerland Online is optional and it is the decision of the finalists. Should you not wish to enter the online event, you may instead elect to request a refund of your entry fee to Pole Theatre Switzerland. Please direct such requests to swisspoletheatre@gmail.com.

Please accept our sincere apologies that this has happened.

Furthermore, we wish to offer all Pole Theatre Switzerland finalists a waived entry fee should you wish to enter:
- Pole Theatre Sydney 2026
- Pole Theatre UK 2026
- Pole Theatre Austria 2026
